From Vision to Reality

Sometimes, life unfolds through careful planning. Other times, magic takes over and changes everything.

A few years ago, during a massage, I had a vivid vision of myself standing in front of a retreat center that I knew was mine. It wasn’t logical or explainable—and yet it was a premonition. As someone with 12 years in tech analytics, I valued facts and logic, so this experience felt both surprising and undeniable.

I assumed it was a far-off dream—something for after retirement. But in February 2024, I unexpectedly lost my job while spending time in Puerto Rico. Hours later, a friend told me about a property for sale, one they thought would be perfect for my vision.

I visited the property 2 days later, and everything clicked. The location, the energy—it felt like the place I’d seen in my vision.

Still, I hesitated. The logical side of me needed time to analyze, to plan. The spiritual side of me prayed for clarity. The owner, understanding yet direct, mentioned there was another offer and I needed to make a decision by the end of the week.

For four days, I balanced prayer and spreadsheets. Finally, I made an offer. They accepted.

I left my cubical and harsh Boston winters, and now spend my days living in the rainforest and playing in waterfalls.
