🌴 Live-in Property Manager (May 14 – July 8) — Rainforest Retreats, Puerto Rico 🌴

Rainforest Retreats is seeking a responsible, hands-on, and heart-centered individual to live on-site and manage our boutique retreat property nestled in the lush rainforest of Río Grande, Puerto Rico. This is a unique opportunity to live rent-free in paradise in exchange for supporting day-to-day operations, guest experiences, and light property upkeep during a key stretch of our summer season.

🏡 What You’ll Do

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Respond to guest inquiries as needed (a co-host and I will remain available for support)

• Be on-site for any in-person guest needs (extra blankets, questions, guidance, etc.)

• Offer optional guided tours to guests who request them

• Perform pre-check-in walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and quality

• Communicate daily updates and report issues to the owner

Property Oversight

• Monitor the property and flag any maintenance needs

• Coordinate with the cleaning and groundskeeping team as needed

• Serve as a backup cleaner if scheduled cleaner is ill/unable to make it, or help find a substitute

• Keep common areas tidy, supplies stocked, and systems running smoothly

Admin & Errands

• Errands such as picking up supplies, visiting the hardware store, vet visits, or dropping off paperwork

• Support in the construction work including sending photo/video updates

• Have a reliable vehicle or are comfortable coordinating transportation as needed (A car can be negotiated)

🔧 Logistics

• This is a work-exchange position: housing is provided in full in return for your support. There is no financial compensation for the base role.

• However, there is an option for a paid position if you're interested in taking on additional responsibilities (to be discussed and agreed upon in advance)

• You must be available for the full commitment: May 14 – July 8, 2025

• Possibility to extend into the fall (Aug 19 – Dec 9) and beyond if mutually aligned
